Steel Shavings Productions LLC, is a small independently owned and operated production company. We specialize in taking an idea from development to post-production. Being a smaller, trim and efficient company keeps projects true to their roots while delivering a finished project that is not diluted in content. Having unpretentious beginnings and working as a team on student film projects quickly turned into shorts, spec commercials, and full length features. Starting with a small community of people all having the same desire to entertain, has now transformed into a two decade movement.

Relocating to the “creative capital of the world” was a necessary step in order to be among people and businesses actively involved in the arts. Los Angeles being a place with more artists, writers, filmmakers, actors, dancers and musicians than any other city in the world. Culture, education, and sophistication are just a few ingredients that can be found transfused into the people and businesses in the area, proving to be a valuable catalyst to any filmmaker or story teller. Establishing financial backing as a filmmaker means being resourceful and un-relentless when bringing an idea to being. Currently working overseas in Afghanistan is one of the far-out and different approaches selected by Steel Shavings Productions to bring the next feature film to life.
